National Aquarium in Baltimore Immersion Tours. They have lots of different behind the scenes special tours and you can even sleep over at the aquarium! Some of the tours have a minimum age, so make sure all the girls are qualified.

National Zoo Overnights.
20 minute drive. Spend a night at the National Zoo and learn about the animals, do some science and activities, and "hibernate" for the night. Snore and Roars are available over the summer, where you camp in provided tents. Occasionally there are winter overnights available as well.
Catoctin Zoo Jungle Nights
About 1 hour drive. Knowledgeable staff will take zoo campers into the night world of our rare and exotic creatures and help them awaken to the sound of nature’s alarm clock.
Lincoln Caverns
3 hour drive. Overnight scout programs around caverns. Includes cave exploration, fossil hunts, geology activities, etc.
C&O Canal Lockhouses
15 minutes to an hour. Stay overnight in lockhouses along the canal. 8 person max.
Maryland Science Center
An hour drive. The goal of the Camp-In program is to inspire children to discover the excitement of science through fun, hands-on activities in an informal setting. $40 per participant.
Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum Lighthouse Overnight
2 hour drive. Your group can spend the night in our 1879 Hooper Strait Lighthouse! Travel back in time to experience the rustic life of a lighthouse keeper with hands-on, interactive activities. Program is available Fridays and Saturdays in the spring and fall, beginning at 6pm and ending at 7:30am the following morning. Groups up to 12 kids and 3 chaperones. The Central and Southern New Jersey even has a light house badge you can do, although you'd have to make them or custom order them from a badge maker (see Lighthouse Badge).
Calvert Marine Museum
An hour and a half drive. Stay overnight with the sting rays and otters Bubbles and Squeak, and experience the museum in a whole new way! This is an ideal adventure for church groups, scout troops, community organizations, and families. Watch the moon rise behind the Drum Point Lighthouse, go on a treasure hunt in the museum at night, eat S’mores around a camp fire, and see a theme-appropriate movie in our full size theatre – complete with popcorn, and enjoy breakfast the next morning.
The Franklin Institute
3 hour drive. Whether you are amazed by 100-story skyscrapers or excited by the possibilities of the tiniest microchips, The Franklin Institute's "Clash of the Sciences" Camp-In is for you! A gem of a science museum! About $50 per participant.
USS Constellation Overnight
An hour drive. Overnight programs provide individual organizations and groups (20-60 each) an immersive, nineteenth-century, hands-on experience that encourages team-work, problem solving, and learning. The USS Constellation Overnight Adventure offers groups a unique opportunity to walk in the footsteps of sailors and learn about life aboard a mid-19th century, U.S. Navy warship. Participants become Landsmen, USS Constellation’s newest crew members. Overnight recruits “learn the ropes” and quickly develop both a working nautical vocabulary and a familiarity with the basics of life aboard a man-of-war including Civil War-era dining, hands-on activities, and the navy hammock.
Annual Scout Beach Jam, Bop and Salute to Scouting in Wildwood New Jersey
3 and a half hour drive. Beach Jam, Bop and Salute to Scouting celebrate scouting with a one-of –a-kind beach camping adventure with Morey’s Piers and the famous Wildwood Boardwalk as a backdrop. Camping, SWAPS, rides, bonfire... what could be more fun! Catered meals to boot. May, June, July and September each year. Don't forget sand stakes!
